Introducing Perspective IconsThursday, December 13th, 2012 by icons & coffee
Months in the making, we’re proud to announce our first release: Perspective Icons.
First, some backstory. We’re Icons & Coffee, we’re from Italy, and we love crafting pixels. And, well, we love espresso, too. This is our first public release, and, in the coming months, you’ll find updates from us on this blog.
Perspective Icons is a set of 50 icons that look gorgeous in OmniFocus for OS X and iOS. OmniFocus gives you the possibility to use custom icons for perspectives, and, as OmniFocus users ourselves, we’ve used custom icons found somewhere on the Internet for years. But as OmniFocus came to more devices than just the Mac, and as those devices gained access to Perspectives, we wondered: why isn’t anyone making an icon set specifically for OmniFocus?
We liked the idea enough that we created our own set. We call it “Perspective Icons”: they look gorgeous in OmniFocus — they’re designed with OmniFocus users in mind — but, if you want, you can use them in any other app.
We’ve spent hours crafting a set that feels native on OmniFocus and OS X in general. We made separate sizes for non-Retina and Retina devices, ensuring the icons would scale beautifully on iPhones and iPads. We’ve organized the icons with suggested names for Perspectives, but, again, you’re free to use them however you like. As you’ll find out, there are two versions for each icon, and each one of them has been finely tuned for smaller and bigger sizes. Effectively, you’ll get 100 icons.
We’re charging $4.99 for this set for a limited time. After the initial sale, the price will go up to $9.99. By buying the Perspective Icons once, you’ll get access to free updates we may release in the future, which we’ll notify you about via email.
We appreciate your support. Until next time, happy customizing!∞ Permalink
